1/4 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp salt

1/2 cup (8g) cilantro
1/2 cup (15g) parsley
2 cloves garlic
1/4 tsp (1.25 ml) olive oil
1/4 tsp (1.25 ml) cumin
1/4 tsp (1.25 ml) red pepper
1/4 tsp (1.25 ml) black pepper
1/2 tsp (2.5 ml) salt
1 TBSP (15 ml) lemon

Instructions
- Insert sourdough slice into toaster.
- In a large bowl, combine garbanzo beans, diced tomatoes, chopped shallots, minced garlic, chopped cilantro and parsley, lemon, spices and salt to taste. Stir until evenly mixed.
- On the side, mash avocado with fork then spread onto toast.
- Spoon some of the mixture over the avocado toast.
- Optional: Sprinkle with cilantro or parsley to enhance flavor.
