Ingredients
1 pound strawberries (organic preferred)
½ cup honey
1 TBSP water
½ tsp vanilla extract

300 grams strawberries (organic preferred)
170 grams honey
1 TBSP (15 ml) water
½ tsp (2.5 ml) vanilla extract

Instructions
- Wash the strawberries.
- Core the top leaves off (if any) and chop the strawberries into small pieces.
- On medium heat, in a stovetop pan, heat the honey with water for 2-3 minutes.
- Add in the chopped strawberries and simmer them together on lower heat.
- Cover the pan so that excess moisture does not escape.
- Stir often, and allow to cook together until strawberries become soft and are cooked through.
- Finally add in the vanilla extract and let it get absorbed by the stewing fruit.
- If a smooth consistency is desired, pulse in a hand blender once cooled.

Notes
Use this strawberry spread rolled up inside SCD Crepes. You could also mix some of it up into a smoothie, or spoon it atop any of our SCD desserts.
