1 lb 2 oz frozen spinach

2 cups homemade yogurt or kefir

1 TBSP olive oil, extra virgin

1 onion

3-4 pieces garlic

a little bit of turmeric powder

salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Fry the chopped onion with olive oil and turmeric, but not too long: only 1-2 minutes.
  • Add defrosted spinach mixed with crushed garlic.
  • Add some salt and pepper to taste and stew this about 10 minutes under a cover on low heat. (It should be quite hot).
  • Cool and add yogurt (or kefir).
  • If it's needed, add more salt to taste.
