¼ tsp salt
¼ tsp baking soda

¼ tsp (1.25 ml) salt
¼ tsp (1.25 ml) baking soda

Instructions
- Mix ingredients together, and let cool. (To cool the mixture faster, add ice cubes.)
- Drink to hydrate yourself. The electrolyte drink may be kept in refrigerator for 24 hours, and then a new batch should be made.

This standard rehydrating drink has appeared in many SCD books and websites. We wanted to include it in this book as the off-the-shelf pharmacy options are all not SCD-friendly. We have used this over the past decade to keep ourselves well through minor and major sicknesses. - Pam & Raman
