1 onion, peeled and chopped fine

2 cloves garlic, peeled and chopped fine

1 TBSP olive oil

1 tsp white wine vinegar

¼ cup Nonnie's SCD Ketchup (see Related Recipes)

½ tsp salt

½ tsp black pepper

¼ tsp mustard powder

2 pounds beef ribs, cut into pieces

60 ml Nonnie's SCD Ketchup (see Related Recipes)

½ tsp (2.5 ml) salt

½ tsp (2.5 ml) black pepper

¼ tsp (1.25 ml) mustard powder

880 grams beef ribs, cut into pieces

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C or gas mark 3).
  • Combine all the ingredients (except ribs) together in a small blender (if available), or just mix together with a whisk in a bowl.
  • Grease a baking dish.
  • Place the ribs in a baking dish and rub the mix onto the ribs generously.
  • Cover the baking dish with foil.
  • Turn the oven setting to 325°F (165°C or gas mark 3) and bake the ribs for about 45-60 minutes.
  • Uncover the foil and test the ribs. If required, replace the cover foil and increase the heat to 350°F (180°C or gas mark 4) and allow to cook for another 30 minutes, or until done.
