Ingredients
½ cup butter
2 tsp olive oil
1 bunch basil, chopped - stems and all
3 large (or 6 small)
1 elephant garlic (or 4 four normal cloves garlic)
2 TBSP honey

Instructions
- In a large saucepan on medium heat, combine and simmer ¼ cup butter (56 grams), olive oil, basil, and 1 large (2 small) sliced bananas for about an hour.
- Remove solids from oil with slotted spoon and blend the solids in food processor until smooth.
- Strain to remove chunks and return blended solids to oil.
- Add two large or four small bananas (chopped) and simmer on low for one hour.
- Remove solids with slotted spoon.
- Stir in 2 TBSP (30 ml) honey to cooked banana mixture (or to taste) and rest for
- fifteen minutes.
- Salt to taste.
- Add another ¼ cup butter to basil oil remaining in saucepan - and warm.
- Voila! The most delightful basil butter for your veggies.
