Instructions

  • Cook a package of frozen, chopped spinach and drain the water out well.
  • Beat 1 or 2 eggs in a bowl.
  • Mash the farmer's cheese.
  • Combine the spinach, eggs, and farmer's cheese.
  • Add herbs like basil, dill, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
  • Mix in some almond flour.
  • Spread onto a buttered pie pan.
  • Sprinkle almond flour on top and dabs of butter and/or grated parmesan cheese.
  • Bake approximately 40 minutes, until it looks lightly brown.
