¼ tsp baking soda

2 TBSP honey
½ tsp cinnamon powder

220 grams cashew flour
¼ tsp (1.25 ml) baking soda
¼ tsp (1.25 ml) salt
55 grams ghee
2 TBSP (30 ml; 40 g) honey
½ tsp (2.5 ml) cinnamon powder
1 TBSP (15 ml) Strawberry Spread
½ TBSP (7 ml) Homemade Applesauce

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325° F (165°C or gas mark 3).
- Blend all ingredients except the jam and applesauce together. The dough should be firm.
- Meanwhile, stir together the jam and applesauce in a small bowl with a spoon. Set aside.
- On a greased baking pan, drop the biscuit batter at regular intervals.
- Press your finger into center of each biscuit so there is a slight dent – a little well that will be filled by jelly/jam.
- Drop the jam mixture gently into each little well.
- Bake for 10-15 minutes at 325° F (165°C or gas mark 3), or until done.

These jam drop biscuits remind us of Victorian times and high tea in the English countryside. However, these scrumptious biscuits are made for the modern working couple that wants some sweetness with little effort. And the real treat is that they can be whipped up in less than 30 minutes!
